Hello everyone! My name is Fortino Velasco IV but my family and friends call me Kako.
I am currently a Junior living in O'Neill hall majoring in Biology and Psychology with aspirations to also minor in Japanese.
My decision to begin studying Japanese stems from this past summer, when I was fortunate enough to spend a month living in Tokyo where I absolutely fell in love with the language and culture. While there I picked up and expanded some of my interests including anime, Japanese music, and learning about new cultures.
I would love to get to know you all better this semester and have a chance to practice what we learn in class so stop me anytime and we can talk. See you all in class!
